Home Safety Assessment

Home Safety Assessment

Here at Stay Safe Home Advisors, you can rest assured that you will receive a complete and comprehensive safety report and/or assessment of your home or residence. This information makes it possible for you to see areas of concern so that you can decide which items you would like to take action on.

Keep in mind our assessments are comprehensive so that you may choose some of, or our full recommendation depending on your budget and current needs. We just want to make sure that you have the ability to make educated and calculated decisions about your safety, or your loved one’s safety.

Below you will find a full explanation of what can be expected in every home safety assessment.

Expectations?

The duration of our examinations can range anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half, depending on the property. We also invite you to have a family member or a loved one present. As we conduct our assessment of your property, we will discuss the various options available to you.
The 240 Point Assessment will be performed by a trained advisor, who has expertise in the occupational therapy industry. These assessments take into account both interior and exterior elements which could cause a safety hazard to an individual who is aging in place. We also take into consideration the use of any external devices which affect mobility, i.e. canes, walkers, and wheelchairs.

In summary, our highly trained and skilled safety advisor will provide an action plan for your safety and a fall prevention program. If any modifications are recommended to one’s property, you can rest assured that our highly skilled team of vetted professional contractors will be able to assist.
